Israeli military intelligence presented intelligence information claiming the involvement of six journalists from Qatar's Al Jazeera network in military activities with Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements in Gaza Strip.
The discovered documents identified the accused journalists as: Anas Jamal Mahmoud Al-Sharif, Alaa Abdul Aziz Mohammed Salama, Hussam Basil Abdul Karim Shabat, Ashraf Sami Ashour Siraj, Ismail Farid Mohammed Abu Omar, and Talal Mahmoud Abdul Rahman Arouki.
The seized documents include employee records, military training data, payroll records, and phone number directories, which, according to the Israeli army, link these individuals to the armed factions' military activities.
The Israeli military investigation highlighted the case of journalist Ismail Abu Omar, who was injured in Gaza months ago, where documents allegedly confirm, according to the Israeli army, his connection to military activities, despite Al Jazeera's attempts to deny these accusations.
Israeli information indicates that most of the accused journalists hold media positions in northern Gaza Strip, accusing them of leading propaganda campaigns for Hamas.
The Israeli army published electronic links containing photos and files which it claims prove the validity of its accusations against the six journalists working as military operatives in Gaza Strip.
