**Iranian President: We Welcome Dialogue but Reject Bullying**
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during his reception of the credentials of the new New Zealand ambassador, Bethany Maden, expressed Tehran’s readiness to strengthen bilateral relations and engage in international dialogue, provided that it is "away from imposing demands or engaging in political bullying."
In his speech delivered on Tuesday during the ambassador's accreditation ceremony, Pezeshkian emphasized that "the earth is our small homeland in this vast universe, and we all must strive to ensure it is filled with peace and tranquility, not conflict and wars," according to Mehr News Agency.
This diplomatic meeting comes amid increasing regional and international tensions, especially concerning the nuclear issue.
**Iran-US Dialogue and the Principle of Equality**
The Iranian president implicitly welcomed the possibility of negotiations with the United States but stressed that dialogue should be "based on not bullying or demanding." He added, "We welcome negotiations and will continue to do so, but the fundamental rule is that no one seeks to bullying or impose demands."
In another context, Pezeshkian expressed his rejection of what he called "double standards" maintained by some major powers regarding regional issues, affirming that "it is unacceptable for the Israeli occupation entity to commit crimes with the support of major countries, and then be accused of
destabilizing the region."

**The Nuclear Issue**
Regarding the nuclear program, Pezeshkian confirmed Iran's firm rejection of developing nuclear weapons, stating: "The Islamic Republic has repeatedly clarified that it does not seek to manufacture a nuclear bomb, and has always been open to full cooperation to prove this."
Regarding the new Zealand ambassador, Bethany Maden, she expressed her pleasure representing her country in Tehran, saying: "I am very excited to work towards strengthening bilateral
relations, and I thank Iran for the warm reception."
