Violent confrontations continued between Syrian Democratic Forces and Syrian armed groups supported by the Turkish regime in northern Syria, resulting in over 100 casualties in the past two days, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documentation.

The casualties among pro-Turkish regime groups reached 85 elements, while 16 Syrian Democratic Forces fighters lost their lives during repelling Turkish attacks.

Manjej countryside witnessed military escalation in recent days with Turkish forces intensifying aerial and ground attacks on the region.

Battles centered around the strategic Tishrin Dam, according to the London-based Syrian Observatory, which relies on a network of local observers.

Eyewitnesses reported extensive Turkish artillery shelling around the Euphrates Dam, causing partial damage to the vital water facility controlling water and electricity supplies in the region.

Ankara claims Syrian Democratic Forces are an extension of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, using this allegation as a pretext for continuous attacks on the region.

The Turkish Defense Ministry claimed eliminating 32 Kurdish People's Protection Units fighters in northern Syria, and killing four Kurdistan Workers' Party elements in northern Iraq, while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan continues threatening to target Kurdish areas in northern Syria, where his forces are illegally deployed.
