Media sources detailed serious threats made by a member of Turkish-backed armed factions targeting Kurdish civilians in Afrin city, which is under the control of Turkish factions.
Sources revealed the involvement of "Al-Marsad Jawad Abu Ahmad" from "Jarjanaz" town in issuing threats to kill Kurdish civilians in Afrin, following the arrest of six members of the Turkish-backed "Al-Sham Legion" faction by Syrian Democratic Forces during their participation in ongoing battles around Tishreen Dam in rural Manbij.
The list of detained elements includes Mahmoud Hassan Al-Dughaim, Nazir Hassan Al-Dughaim, Ahmad Abdul Fattah Al-Dughaim, Bilal Ibrahim Al-Hussein, Younis Saleh Khattab, and Hussein Ahmad Daboul.
Sources confirmed the attribution of an audio clip containing threats to "Jawad Abu Ahmad" after direct communication with his personal account.
These threats reinforce fears of new violations against civilians in areas under the control of Turkish-backed factions, in a continuous pattern of practices targeting local residents.
