Syrian state media says air defense responds to ‘Israeli aggression’

The Arab News reported, citing Reuters, Syrian state media reported early on Monday that the country’s air defenses responded to “Israeli aggression” targeting the southern region. It said that explosions were heard over the capital Damascus.

The report said that details on damage were not immediately available.
