إدلب

Eleven people were killed and 39 others injured in a horrific massacre committed by Russian aircraft on Wednesday, along with shelling carried out by Syrian regime forces in Idlib province, northwestern Syria.

The Syrian Civil Defense reported in its report on the death and injury toll and combat operations targeting Idlib and rural Aleppo that Russian warplanes launched airstrikes on a furniture workshop and an olive oil press on the outskirts of Idlib city, resulting in the deaths of 10 civilians and injuries to 32 others, most of whom were seriously injured, increasing the likelihood of a higher death toll.

Additionally, artillery shelling by regime forces resulted in the death of a girl due to targeting residential houses between the village of Ma'arblit and the village of Ma'arzaf in rural Idlib. A man working in shepherding was injured by a Russian airstrike that targeted the forest near the village of Joseph.

The village of Al-Mohsenli, east of Aleppo, also suffered rocket shelling, leading to the injury of 6 civilians, including 4 children who were students. Russian aircraft carried out strikes on a stone cutting factory in the village of Al-Habbat near the city of Ma'arrat Misrin, as well as targeting the outskirts of the village of Al-Bara and agricultural lands in the village of Al-Asdiyah near the town of Ma'tarim and a valley near the village of Al-Husseiniyah, while other airstrikes were conducted early Wednesday on a forested area near Idlib city without any reported injuries.

Several villages and towns witnessed rocket and artillery attacks by regime forces, including the road connecting the village of Al-Nayrab and the city of Sarmine, the road between the village of Freekah and Al-Qarqour, and the outskirts of the city of Jisr Al-Shughur.
