Moscow took a hardline stance towards NATO, as Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Russian media that his country would confront any potential NATO attack with all available means.

Lavrov emphasized in his statements that "no one will be safe, neither those across the Atlantic, nor those across the English Channel."

Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov denounced allegations regarding Russian military intelligence involvement in transporting explosives through express mail services to the European Union.

Peskov highlighted the Russian administration's position on the Wall Street Journal article, dismissing what he described as "incomprehensible media stuffing," adding that "this newspaper and other highly respected publications often publish such incomprehensible media stuffing, which is never supported by any reliable information."

The Polish Public Prosecutor's Office revealed the arrest of four members of a sabotage group active in EU countries, suspected of involvement in sending explosive devices through express mail services.

Investigations showed that the group deliberately sends packages booby-trapped with explosives and dangerous materials to the European Union and Britain, designed for self-ignition or explosion during transport.

According to Polish sources, the group aimed to expand its operations to include Canada and the United States of America.
