The Iranian Embassy in Abu Dhabi denied via Reuters statement on Sunday accusations of involvement in the killing of Israeli Rabbi Zvi Kogan in the UAE.
The UAE Ministry of Interior reported that specialized agencies successfully arrested those involved in record time regarding the killing of a resident named Zvi Kogan, who entered UAE borders using a Moldovan passport.
According to Emirates News Agency (WAM), three individuals were involved in the incident. The Ministry of Interior emphasized its "ability to deal firmly with anyone attempting to compromise society's security and stability."
The Ministry explained that after the victim's family reported his disappearance, a search team was formed. Investigations led to finding the missing person's body and identifying the perpetrators, who were arrested. Legal procedures have begun, and all incident details will be announced after investigations conclude.
The Ministry emphasized that "the UAE and all its institutions will spare no effort to prevent any assault on its citizens, residents, and visitors. All security agencies work around the clock to protect society's stability and maintain the highest security levels established since the country's founding."
The Ministry sternly warned it "will use all available legal authorities to deal strictly and uncompromisingly with anyone attempting to destabilize society or threaten its security," affirming "complete readiness to take maximum deterrent measures to protect the gains of coexistence and social peace according to applicable laws and regulations."
