Brutal Massacre of Prisoners: 54 Executions in Four Days

The silence and complicity in the crimes of this regime fuel the machinery of execution and terror. Its leaders must be brought to justice.
Khamenei has resorted to committing mass and brutal executions of prisoners to instill fear and intimidation in response to the people's uprisings, amidst escalating internal conflict and the exclusion of figures like Zarif and Hemati, the Vice President and Minister of Economics. This comes as the regime faces worsening economic and international crises. However, each execution is a new nail in the coffin of a regime that has entered its final phase.
In an unprecedented crime, Khamenei's executioners on March 1, just before the holy month of Ramadan, executed at least 27 prisoners, leaving hundreds of grieving families behind. Among the victims, 10 prisoners were executed in Mashhad: Asieh Ghavi-Jashm, Masoud Barahoui, Aref Sadeqpour, Mehrdad Kalbali, Hassan Shaharki, and three brothers: Jalal, Javad, and Alireza Afagh, along with two siblings: Gholam Hossein and Ebrahim Khalilifar. In Zahedan, 7 inmates were hanged: Basir Roudini, Morad Sabro, Farhad Dahmande, Moussa Bahank, Qassem Qanbardazki, Saadollah Zarei, and Asim Jari Kar. Additionally, a father and son were executed in Kord, alongside Arsalan Pasha and Jalal Shahsavar in Amol, and Ismail Mozafari and Yaqub Mirzajani in Gorgan, among others.
From February 26 to March 1, the regime executed 54 prisoners, averaging 3 executions every 5 hours. On the first day of Ramadan, March 2, prisoner Iraj Mohammadi was executed in Khorramabad.
Silence and negligence towards the mastermind of executions and terror is a violation of global human rights principles, providing support for terrorism and igniting wars. This regime must be expelled from the international community, and its leaders should be held accountable for crimes against humanity, genocide, and war crimes committed over the past 46 years.
