The General Command in Syria announced the appointment of Assad Hassan Al-Shaibani as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the interim government.

No information was immediately available regarding Al-Shaibani's qualifications for the position.

The new Syrian authorities also appointed Azam Gharib, known by the nickname "Abu Al-Izz Sarqib," as the governor of Aleppo province. Gharib is considered one of the prominent leaders of the "Sham Front," which is affiliated with what is known as the "Syrian National Army."

According to Syrian news pages, Gharib was born in the city of Sarqib in the Idlib countryside in 1985 and is a resident of the city of Aleppo. He obtained a master's degree in Islamic Studies from Bingöl University in Turkey, in addition to studying dentistry and control engineering and automation at the University of Aleppo.

He began his military career by joining the "Islamic Movement" and "Islamic Front," eventually becoming the leader of the "Sham Front" after serving as its deputy commander since its establishment.
