UK makes efforts to build up "green economy"
The Chinese news agency Xinhua published photos of UK efforts to build up "green economy".
According to the Xinhua, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced last year that Britain will mobilize more than 12 billion pounds (about 16.8 billion U.S. dollars) of government investment, alongside three times that amount from the private sector by 2030, to build up "the green economy" backing up to 250,000 jobs.

It added, Britain plans to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2030 as part of its effort to deliver its legally binding commitment to bring greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
