UAE to host the COP28 international climate conference in 2023
The Arab News reported, the Ruler of Dubai said in a tweet on Thursday that the UAE has been selected to host the COP28 international climate conference in 2023.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, who also serves as prime minister of the UAE said: “We will put all our capabilities to make the conference a success. The UAE will remain committed to global climate action to protect the planet.”
The country's environment ministry said on Thursday that meanwhile, Egypt was officially selected to host the COP27 conference next year.

It added, the North African country will held the conference in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh.
