The victory of brothers Haroun and Abdul Rahman Al-Kafri in UAE Open Kickboxing Championship reflects excellence of Syrian athletic talent in diaspora
Two Syrian brothers from Daraa achieved notable athletic success in UAE Open Kickboxing Championship, with Haroun Rashid Al-Kafri winning gold medal in over 70kg weight division.
His brother Abdul Rahman Rashid Al-Kafri added another achievement by securing silver medal in under 70kg category.
The championship was supervised by UAE Ministry of Sports, UAE Muay Thai and Kickboxing Federation, and Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
The achievements of talented coach Rashid Al-Kafri's sons strengthen Syrian athletes' presence in international events, despite refugee and displacement conditions.
These outstanding results add to the series of successes achieved by Syrian athletes abroad, confirming continued excellence of Syrian talents across various sports.
