King Salman Confirms to Abbas Saudi Arabia’s Support for Palestinian Rights
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, received in Riyadh on Wednesday Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
The King welcomed the President and his accompanying delegation in the Kingdom, reiterating Saudi Arabia’s continued support to Palestine and the rights of its people for an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The Palestinian leader expressed his pleasure in visiting the Kingdom and meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
King Salman held a luncheon in honor of Abbas and the accompanying delegation.
The audience and luncheon were attended by Prince Khalid bin Fahd bin Khalid and Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and a number of princes and senior officials.
