Judge Killed in Syria... New Crime Deepens Chaos in Turkish Militia Areas
-
Repeated killings and assassinations in Turkey's areas of influence reveal a clear inability to maintain security and protect judicial and security figures
A Court of Cassation judge in northern Aleppo countryside was killed by direct gunfire from gunmen at a checkpoint belonging to the "Sultan Murad" faction in Al-Rai area under Turkish influence, while his brother sustained various injuries. The incident occurred following a verbal dispute with checkpoint personnel in Dalha village, after which the injured was transferred to the hospital for necessary treatment.
It's worth noting that the murdered judge was from Dalha village in Aleppo countryside, which has a predominantly Turkmen population.

This incident coincides with the growing phenomenon of security breakdown and instability in areas controlled by Turkish forces and their local allies within "Operation Euphrates Shield."
The region records similar incidents, as unidentified individuals opened fire on October 17 at a military police officer after tracking him on the Ghandoura road near Jarablus, east of Aleppo, killing him instantly. The attackers withdrew to an unknown destination without their motives becoming clear.
These recurring incidents confirm the failure of Turkish policy in managing the Syrian areas under its control, as these areas witness accelerating security deterioration and collapse in judicial and administrative institutions, along with the spread of chaos and organized crime. This reinforces international and local demands for the necessity of Turkish forces' withdrawal from Syrian territories, returning these areas to full Syrian sovereignty, and allowing local institutions to manage their affairs without external interventions that feed conflicts and fuel divisions between local community components.
