Israeli forces targeted the "Jousiya" checkpoint located on the Syrian-Lebanese border, according to the Syrian regime's news agency "SANA."

The targeted crossing point is located in the Al-Qusayr area of rural Homs governorate, with no additional information available about the extent of damage.

This raid falls within a series of continuous attacks carried out by Israel inside Syrian territory, under the pretext of targeting Iranian-affiliated sites and Hezbollah facilities.

It's worth noting that the Israeli army has conducted several hundred airstrikes on Syrian territory since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011, targeting Iranian centers and Hezbollah facilities.

Recently, there has been a notable escalation in the rate of Israeli strikes coinciding with the intensification of military confrontation on the Lebanese front.

Despite Tel Aviv's usual reservation about confirming responsibility for strikes in Syria, it consistently affirms its determination to confront what it describes as Tehran's attempts to strengthen its military presence in Syrian territory.
