On the morning of Sunday, the Syrian capital Damascus witnessed a historic event as protests escalated with the entry of factions from the "Military Operations Management." This led to the official collapse of Bashar al-Assad's regime. Subsequently, the opposition revitalized and took control of strategic coastal cities in Syria, such as Tartus and Latakia, dealing a significant blow to the regime's influence in coastal areas.

In a related context, factions of the Syrian National Army managed to seize the city of Manbij, located in eastern Aleppo's countryside, after violent clashes with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
