"Procode" Secures Angel Investment at LEAP 2025 to Boost Growth in the Gaming and Esports Sector in the Middle East

Procode, a platform specializing in talent development in the gaming world and transforming them into esports professionals, content creators, and coaches, has successfully secured angel investment during its participation in the LEAP 2025 conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This comes as the gaming industry in the Middle East and North Africa experiences tremendous growth, estimated to be worth billions of dollars. LEAP 2025 is one of the largest global tech conferences, bringing together thousands of participants from entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers in the technology sector.
Procode gained the trust of investors thanks to its ambitious vision for creating a comprehensive infrastructure for the gaming and esports sector in the region. This funding will accelerate its expansion starting from Saudi Arabia, where the market is expected to reach $10 billion by 2030.
Procode's participation in the fourth edition of LEAP 2025 was supported by the Tamkeen Work Fund and the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH), with the Bahrain pavilion hosting 14 innovative startups operating in various technology fields.
Commenting on this achievement, Tariq Fakhro, Chairman of BTECH, stated: "Procode's success in attracting investment embodies the confidence investors have in Bahraini startups and their ability to compete globally in the esports sector. It also reaffirms Bahrain’s commitment to supporting and empowering talent in this dynamic field. We aspire to see more Bahraini companies expand regionally and internationally, enhancing our position as a hub for digital innovation."
For her part, Mrs. Shahd Al-Zaki, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Procode, stated: "Securing angel investment during our participation in the Bahrain pavilion at LEAP 2025 marks a significant milestone in our journey. This step represents the investors' faith in our vision for developing the gaming and esports sector in the Middle East."
She added, "This funding will empower us to expand the platform across the region, explore new opportunities, reach a broader audience, and strengthen strategic partnerships and future collaborations."
Founded in 2024, Procode aims to develop talents and refine gamers' skills by offering organized training programs with content specifically designed for the region, individual and group training sessions, and mentorship from experts in various fields, along with organizing competitive tournaments. The platform also allows gamers to develop their skills and build a supportive community, equipping them to become esports professionals, content creators, and leaders in the gaming industry, in line with the evolving gaming market in the region.
