Russian Army Makes New Advances in Donetsk and Kharkiv

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that Russian forces have managed to gain control of two new villages in eastern Ukraine, continuing their steady progress over the past several months.

The official statement included a report from the "West" group of the Russian army, indicating that they had seized the town of Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as the town of Krasnoe (known in Ukraine as Sontseve), which is located near Kurakhove in the Donetsk region.

The statement also noted that the West forces were able to repel six counterattacks launched by Ukrainian assault units. According to the information provided, Ukrainian military losses exceeded 480 personnel, in addition to the loss of 5 vehicles and equipment, including a Polish "Krab" self-propelled howitzer and a British FH-70.

In the same context, the ministry confirmed that units from the Northern Group encountered Ukrainian armed formations in the areas of Borshchivaya, Kazachya Lopan, and Volchansk, recording losses for the Ukrainians in those areas amounting to up to 55 personnel, six vehicles, and five D-30 howitzers.
