Egypt to Present Gaza Reconstruction Plan at Arab Summit

Informed sources have revealed that Egypt will present its Gaza reconstruction plan to all participating Arab leaders at the Arab summit scheduled to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, in Cairo.
The sources stated in comments to "Al-Arabiya.net" and "Al-Hadath.net" that Egypt refuses to present or discuss the plan's details with any foreign party, despite attempts by some entities to learn about its components. The sources emphasized the importance of obtaining approval and consensus from Arab countries on the plan before any discussions with external parties.
The summit will commence tomorrow at 3 PM Cairo time at the Al-Masa Hotel in the New Administrative Capital, where official delegations from Arab leaders will begin to arrive ahead of the summit's start time. All logistical arrangements have been completed to welcome presidents, kings, and delegations from Arab countries, in addition to organizing a Ramadan iftar dinner with the participation of the Egyptian president for all guests.
The Gaza reconstruction plan has been finalized, excluding the displacement of Palestinians, and will be presented by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to Arab leaders for discussion and consensus. The summit is expected to result in a unified Arab position and an Egyptian-Arab plan for reconstruction, the details of which will be announced in the session or the final communiqué of the summit.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Badr Abdel-Atty, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, the Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Monday in preparation for the extraordinary Arab summit.
Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the meeting addressed ongoing arrangements related to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and support for efforts to stabilize the ceasefire agreement in the region, in addition to reaffirming the constants of the Arab position regarding the Palestinian cause.
Minister Abdel-Atty also exchanged views with the Palestinian Prime Minister regarding the current situation in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and they discussed the concept of holding a reconstruction conference that Egypt is expected to host in cooperation with the United Nations. They expressed their hopes for international support for early recovery and reconstruction plans, ensuring that Palestinians retain their rights and are able to remain on their land and establish their independent state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
