The Arab News reported, foreign workers in Jordan who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 15 face strict measures from the government, including deportation.

A report from state news agency Petra said, quoting a statement from Jordan’s interior ministry: “The decision aims to protect public health, noting that prompting foreign workers to get vaccinated protects them against future infections and disease transmission."

Foreign workers are allowed to receive the vaccine for free, without the need to present their residency or work permits.
