UNICEF delivers supplies to vaccination center in Libya's Benghazi
The Xinhua news agency reported the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday said it delivered supplies to the vaccination center in the eastern Libyan city Benghazi.
The supplies for Libya's mass vaccination campaign include face shields, first aid kits, cold boxes, quality monitoring devices, thermometers, stethoscopes, day loggers, hand sanitizers, alcohol, and surgical masks, UNICEF said.
"UNICEF is confident that this program will have a positive and far-reaching impact on the larger population and will contribute to national efforts in reaching the most at-risk everywhere," said UNICEF Special Representative Abdulkadir Musse.
A total of 1,014,310 people in Libya had been vaccinated against COVID-19, the Libyan National Center for Disease Control said on Tuesday.

The Libyan government recently launched a mass vaccination campaign, under which people above 18, whether Libyans or foreigners, can get vaccinated at temporary vaccination centers.
The second largest COVID-19 vaccination center containing 40 vaccination units was opened on Tuesday in Benghazi, the country's health ministry said.
