Turkey Breaches Ceasefire in Northern Syria.. With Simultaneous Attacks on Kobani and Tishrin Dam

Extension of U.S. ceasefire agreement indicates continued international efforts to prevent conflict escalation in northern Syria
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) alerted in an official statement to continuing Turkish and allied attacks on multiple areas in northern Syria, accusing Ankara of violating the ceasefire agreement.
Violent confrontations erupted between Manbij Military Council elements and Turkish forces and their allies, following a comprehensive attack on the Tishrin Dam area Wednesday morning, where Turkish forces targeted the area from three axes with drone support.
Turkish drone strikes hit the Qarah Qawzaq Bridge area and Bir Hasu village south of Ain Al-Arab at night, in an escalation that comes despite the U.S. State Department spokesman's announcement of extending the ceasefire agreement around Manbij until the end of the week.
In an effort to ease tensions, SDF commander Mazloum Abdi announced via "X" platform his forces' commitment to facilitating the return of Suleiman Shah's tomb to its original location, confirming provision of all necessary facilities for crossing the Qarah Qawzaq Bridge.
Abdi pointed to his forces' role in protecting Suleiman Shah's remains during ISIS's threat in 2015, when they helped facilitate its transfer to the Ashmeh area, affirming their commitment to preserving historical sites and coordinating with all concerned parties.
The tomb of Suleiman Shah, grandfather of the Ottoman Empire's founder, has seen three relocations through history, as its original location was near Jaaber Castle in Raqqa until 1973, before being moved to the Euphrates banks in Aleppo, then to western Kobani on the Syrian-Turkish border in 2015.
