Polish police says the body of young Syrian man found near Belarus border

The US News reported citing Reuters, Polish police said on Saturday that the body of a young Syrian man has been found in Poland near the border with Belarus.


Podlaska Police said on Twitter: "Yesterday, in the woods, near the border, near Wolka Terechowska, the body of a young Syrian man was found."


He added: "Activities carried out in the place where the body was found did not allow for unequivocal determination of the cause of death."

The Tass reported that earlier on Friday, Permanent Representative of Belarus to the United Nations Valentin Rybakov stated that over 2000 migrants have gathered near the Belarusian-Polish border seeking asylum in the EU.

According to him, all these people “do not consider Belarus as the place of their stay.”


It should be noted that the migrant crisis on the Belarusian border with Latvia, Lithuania and Poland where the migrants have been flocking since the beginning of the year, sharply aggravated on November 8.
