New Coronavirus Case In Morocco Brings Total To Seven: Ministry

A new Coronavirus case was confirmed in Morocco on Friday, bringing the total of infected people in the country to seven, according to the health ministry. Morocco 


In a statement, the ministry said two more cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, have been confirmed in the country.


The new cases come a day after the North African country reported its first coronavirus fatality. 


The victim was an 89-year-old woman “who was suffering from chronic diseases of the respiratory system and heart”, according to the ministry.


Morocco’s first coronavirus case was reported on March 2 and it was a citizen who returned from Italy. Morocco 


The coronavirus was initially detected last December in Wuhan, China, but has since spread to more than 105 countries. levant


The global death toll from COVID-19 is almost 4,300, with more than 118,000 confirmed cases, according to the World Health Organization. levant
