Mohammed bin Salman arrives in Kuwait on final leg of GCC tour

The Arab News reported, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Kuwait on Friday after leaving Bahrain, the fourth leg of his tour of Gulf countries aimed at bolstering relations.
On arrival, Prince Mohammed was received by his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Saudi Press Agency reported, he was later received by the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who bestowed upon the crown prince the Order of Wisam Mubarak Al-Kabir for his efforts “to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and understanding between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council."
The crown prince sent a cable of thanks to Bahrain’s rulers after his departure from Manama.

The crown prince said, in a report from state news agency SPA: “As I leave your brotherly country, it gives me great pleasure to express to Your Highness my thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality that I, and the accompanying delegation, received."

He added that the joint talks the countries held confirmed the strength of ties between them and the desire to deepen cooperation and strengthen relations in all fields.
He further wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
Prince Mohammed was earlier received by King Hamad and his Bahraini counterpart Prince Salman bin Hamad upon his arrival at Sakhir Air Base airport in the capital, Manama.
During a meeting, the crown prince conveyed greetings from King Salman and the two leaders “reviewed the historical fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields,” a statement on SPA said. They also discussed regional and international developments.

Saudi and Bahraini companies also took part in a forum on Thursday on the sidelines of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Bahrain.
The forum discussed opportunities for economic integration by strengthening joint cooperation in various fields, and opening new and diverse horizons to support trade, investment and tourism.
