Informed sources highlighted Tel Aviv's postponement of its response to Tehran following the leak of secret American documents, published on Telegram accounts days ago, containing highly classified information from US intelligence and national security agencies, addressing ongoing Israeli military movements to respond to Iran, with support from the "Five Eyes" alliance.
The British "Times" newspaper quoted an informed intelligence source saying that the delay in Israel's response is due to the need to adjust some military strategies.
The US Department of Defense initiated an investigation into the leaks, where John Kirby, National Security Council spokesperson at the White House, expressed last Monday his country's deep concern about the breach of classified information, noting there were no indicators of additional documents being at risk.
American officials revealed expanding the investigation to include the mechanism of document leaks, the possibility of involvement of elements from the US intelligence system or electronic breach, and discussed the investigation path that includes identifying individuals authorized to access the documents before publication.
