Hezbollah launched its first attack since November 27 ceasefire on Israeli military facility "responding to Israeli violations".

Statement said "following repeated Israeli violations" of ceasefire, Hezbollah executed Monday evening "initial defensive warning response" targeting "Rweissat Al-Alam site" in "occupied Lebanese Kfar Shouba hills," per AFP.

IDF reported Hezbollah fired "two rocket shells" toward disputed Shebaa Farms, stating shells landed in "open areas" with "no reported injuries."

Netanyahu emphasized Israel will respond "forcefully" after Hezbollah's strike on Israeli military site.

Defense Minister Katz threatened Hezbollah with "harsh response," writing on X: "We promised action against any Hezbollah ceasefire violation, and that's exactly what we'll do."

Finance Minister Smotrich said Hezbollah made "grave mistake," adding Israel must deliver "strong strike," Reuters reported.

Earlier, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Berri emphasized Israel's "flagrant" truce violations, urging ceasefire monitoring committee to start work urgently and compel Israeli withdrawal from southern occupied territories.

He cited Israeli house demolitions in border villages, continued airstrikes causing casualties, latest in Hermel and Marjayoun, as "flagrant" violations.

Lebanese Health Ministry reported one death in Israeli strike on southern Marjayoun. National News Agency reported Israeli forces targeting Beit Lif with artillery shells and Yaroun with heavy machine gun fire.

The US-French brokered ceasefire agreement stipulated Israeli army's 60-day withdrawal from South Lebanon, with Hezbollah withdrawing north of Litani River and dismantling southern military infrastructure.

Agreement emphasized Lebanese Army deployment south, with units strengthening presence since Wednesday, while Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Qassem pledged cooperation Friday.
