Ukraine puts Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, ex-president on wanted list

Ukraine's Security Service on Monday (Oct 10) put Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council and former president of Russia on the country's wanted list.
According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's statement on its website, Maria Zakharova is "hiding from a pre-trial investigation" with the date of her "disappearance" indicated as March 14.
Zakharova is charged with "encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine" under Article 110 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.
Zakharova faces ten to fifteen years’ life imprisonment, with or without confiscation of assets.
In a separate statement, the ministry also said former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, currently serving as the deputy chairman of the country's Security Council, is charged under the same article and put on the wanted list as well.

Ukraine has indicted Medvedev under Art. 110.2 of the Criminal Code. The charge includes the encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine committed by a member of the public authorities.
This article stipulates a penalty of five to ten years’ imprisonment, with or without confiscation of assets.

On Monday (Oct 10), Medvedev said that Russia is preparing new massive strikes on peaceful cities of Ukraine.
Medvedev said on Telegram: "The first episode was played. There will be others.”
Russia launched 84 cruise missiles and 24 drones all across Ukraine on Oct. 10, with an average total value of $400-700 million.
