Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Wednesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the security of all vital facilities, including the Crimean Bridge.

Peskov commented to reporters regarding a report from "Global Defense Corp" about the potential crossing of the Kerch Strait and the execution of long-range missile attacks: "The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces has issued instructions to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of all vital infrastructure facilities, including the bridge [the Crimean Bridge]."

The Kremlin spokesman clarified that the Russian president has repeatedly affirmed his willingness to negotiate concerning Ukraine.

When commenting on a report by Reuters about potential communications between Putin and elected U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss Ukrainian issues, Peskov stated, "The president has consistently expressed his readiness for dialogue and negotiations."

Peskov emphasized that options for "freezing" the conflict in Ukraine are unacceptable for Russia, while highlighting that achieving the objectives of the special military operation is essential for Moscow.

In his remarks to reporters regarding Reuters' report on potential scenarios for ending the conflict, Peskov said, "The option to 'freeze' the conflict does not suit us; we need to achieve our objectives, which everyone knows well."
