Israel Assassinates IRGC Advisor in Southern Suburbs Along with Fawad Shukur

Israeli Airstrike in Beirut’s Southern Suburbs Confirms Presence of Iranian Elements in Key Hezbollah Positions

Pro-Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) media sources announced today, Thursday, the identity of Iranian military advisor Milad Bedi, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut. The strike also claimed the life of the top military commander of Hezbollah, Fawad Shukur.

The security news agency "Mashreq News" reported that Milad Bedi, an Iranian military advisor, was a member of the Quds Force, the external wing of the IRGC. He resided in the IRGC-Hezbollah coordination office in the southern suburbs.

The agency quoted its sources, stating, "Milad Bedi's death was confirmed last night, with his body identified and verified on Wednesday afternoon."

Meanwhile, the "Fars" news agency reported that Bedi was near Shukur's building, and his body was identified a few hours earlier during the rubble-clearing operations in Harat Hreik.

Last Tuesday, the Israeli military announced the assassination of Hezbollah militia leader Fawad Shukur (Sayyed Mohsen) in a concentrated airstrike carried out by Israeli aircraft on the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari added, "Through a precise operation carried out by the Israeli military, warplanes attacked Beirut, ending the life of Fawad Shukur, also known as Sayyed Mohsen."

The death toll from the Israeli strike on a residential building in the southern suburbs of Beirut has risen to seven, including Hezbollah commander Fawad Shukur, an Iranian advisor, and five civilians, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
