Escalation on the Israeli-Lebanese Front: Airstrikes and Rocket Attacks Intensify

As the escalation continues on the Israeli-Lebanese front, reporters from "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" reported on Monday that a drone was intercepted in the skies of northern Israel after crossing the border from Lebanon, and rockets were fired at Kiryat Shmona and its surroundings in northern Israel. Sirens were also activated in Metula in the Upper Galilee, according to the Israeli army.
Our correspondent also reported an Israeli airstrike on the town of Shamsar in western Baalbek, eastern Lebanon, which resulted in one death and three injuries. Earlier, the Lebanese news agency reported five fatalities and ten injuries due to an Israeli airstrike on the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon. The National News Agency indicated that the airstrike caused significant damage to several buildings and apartments near the seaside corniche.
A cautious calm prevailed on the Lebanese front following airstrikes that claimed the lives of at least 21 people on Sunday and injured more than 60 others in southern Lebanon, where the Israeli army claims it is targeting Hezbollah strongholds, according to the Public Health Emergency Operations Center affiliated with the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
Videos showed the extent of the destruction caused by Israeli forces during their bombardment of Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon earlier this morning. The Israeli army is intensifying its airstrikes on southern Lebanon in an effort to target residential buildings crowded with Hezbollah members, as described by them.
Meanwhile, Israeli medical services reported serious injuries in the city of Tamra in the western Galilee due to a rocket fired from Lebanon.
