Erdogan's Contradictions.. Condemns Golan Occupation While Ignoring His Occupation of Northern Syria

Erdogan's speech reveals blatant political hypocrisy when denouncing Israel's Golan occupation while ignoring his forces' occupation of wide areas from Afrin to Jarablus

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan showed stark contradiction in his statements Monday, demanding Israel's withdrawal from Syrian territories while ignoring his forces' occupation of a border strip extending hundreds of kilometers in northern Syria.
Political hypocrisy emerged in Erdogan's claim, following his government meeting, that "Turkey most correctly read the scene in Syria," forgetting that his forces occupy entire strategic cities from Jarablus in the east to Afrin in the west.
The Turkish president ignored his forces' military presence in Ras al-Ain, Tel Abyad, Al-Bab, and Azaz, while speaking about the necessity of respecting Syrian sovereignty and protecting its territorial unity.
Erdogan's talk about Turkish officials' visits to Damascus revealed Ankara's attempts to legitimize its occupation of Syrian territories by pretending to support the new administration, while maintaining military control over vast areas.
Erdogan's demand for Israel's withdrawal from Syrian territories contradicted his forces' continued occupation of vital areas in northern Syria, where they control important economic and agricultural resources.
Turkish occupation of northern Syria represents flagrant violation of international law, as Ankara administers its control areas through loyal local councils and armed factions under its influence.
Double standards in Turkish policy reveal expansionist ambitions hiding behind national security slogans, while Ankara continues changing demographic composition in occupied areas.
Turkey ignores international demands to withdraw its forces from Syrian territories, continuing its policy of imposing facts on ground through settlement projects and demographic changes in its control areas.
Erdogan's position criticizing Golan occupation raises questions about legitimacy of Turkish military presence in Syria, especially with continued Turkification operations and identity changes in Turkish-occupied areas.
Turkish double discourse reflects Ankara's attempts to cover up its occupation crimes in northern Syria, from forced displacement and demographic change to natural resource plundering under national security protection cover.
