Israeli forces detailed their discovery of a strategic underground facility belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. The Israeli army revealed the success of the "Paratroopers Brigade and Yahalom Unit" in identifying and destroying a strategic underground Hezbollah site during the past month.

They explained that a joint operation with the Yahalom Unit, including extensive underground sweeping operations, resulted in detecting and destroying a strategic military facility that Hezbollah had built over 15 years. Israeli forces used 400 tons of explosives to destroy the tunnel extending more than 1.5 kilometers.

The tunnel contained "equipment for fighters' long-term accommodation alongside an arsenal of weapons including anti-tank missiles, rocket shells, RPG missiles, mines, and explosive devices."

The Golan Regional Council announced activating earthquake alert status in northern Israel, following the army's bombing of the complex in southern Lebanon containing huge quantities of explosives.

An Israeli military spokesman reassured residents that "the sound of explosions heard in the north of the country results from army forces' activity in southern Lebanon, with no potential security threat."
