International leaders' statements reveal hopes pinned on the new U.S. administration in achieving just peace in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took the initiative to congratulate U.S. President Donald Trump after his inauguration, expressing his aspirations for achieving sustainable peace in his country.
Zelenskyy praised Trump's decisiveness on the "X" platform, affirming that the "peace through strength" policy he adopts opens new horizons for enhancing American leadership in the region.
The Ukrainian President expressed his anticipation for fruitful cooperation with the new U.S. administration, placing peace achievement at the forefront of priorities.
Russian President Vladimir Putin showed a positive stance towards Trump's inauguration, noting during his meeting with the Russian Security Council the difficulties faced by the new U.S. President. Putin addressed the intense pressure Trump and his family endured during the previous period, speaking about attempts that targeted his life.
Trump recently revealed preparations for a meeting with his Russian counterpart to discuss the Ukrainian crisis, describing the current situation as "bloody chaos" that must end.
Trump's campaign statement about his ability to end the war within 24 hours sparked widespread controversy, especially with the absence of clear details about how this promise would be implemented.
These developments indicate the possibility of fundamental changes in the American approach to the Ukrainian file, given the positive relationship Trump is keen to highlight with the Russian President.
