William and Harry appear in new BBC documentary honoring Prince Philip

The Page Six reported,memories of Prince William and Prince Harry with the late Prince Philip will be revealed in never-before-seen footage from Queen Elizabeth II’s personal collection.
The sentimental clips will be shown in the BBC’s upcoming documentary celebrating the Duke of Edinburgh’s life, “Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers,” which airs next week.
In a preview for the special, William, 39, and Harry, 36, are seen discussing their grandfather during an interview about his impact on the family.
William said of Philip: “He’s always been a huge presence behind everything we have done, really.”
Harry added, “What you see is what you got with my grandfather. He was unapologetically him.”

Also seen in the preview is footage of a young Philip racing daughter Princess Anne and son Prince Charles on bikes as Elizabeth runs after them. Another clip shows Philip in a rowboat with his youngest son Prince Edward.
Another interviewee in the doc is Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Tindell, who seemed to be getting emotional as she says, “You never really prepare yourself for losing him ’cause he was always there.”

And Philip’s son Charles also offers his thoughts on his dad, sharing, “We were lucky to have him for nearly 100 years.”
The BBC told People that more than a dozen members of the royal family offered “personal thoughts and reflections as they pay an historic tribute to the extraordinary life” of Philip in the documentary.
The BBC told the website in a statement: “With special access to the Queen’s private cine-film collection, this film is an unrivaled portrait of a man with a unique place in royal history — by those who knew him best.”

According to the Page Six, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton reportedly did not give interviews for the special.
It worth to be noted that the husband of the Queen died in April at the age of 99 just months before what would have been his 100th birthday.
The documentary will air on September 22 on BBC One.
