Saudi Arabia Calls for Joint Arab-Islamic Summit to Address Ongoing Israeli Aggression

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for a follow-up joint Arab-Islamic summit to be held in Saudi Arabia on November 11, 2024, to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinian territories and the Republic of Lebanon, as well as the current developments in the region.
According to the statement from the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the Kingdom is closely monitoring the current situation in the region, particularly the persistent and unjust Israeli aggression against the occupied Palestinian territories, which has now extended to include the Republic of Lebanon in an attempt to undermine its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The statement underscores the serious repercussions of this aggression on the security and stability of the region and reaffirms Saudi Arabia's condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing crimes and violations faced by the Palestinian people at the hands of the occupying Israeli authorities, as well as the assaults and violations experienced by their counterparts in Lebanon.
Following the joint Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh on November 11, 2023, and based on the directives of King Salman, in continuation of the efforts made by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, in coordination with his fellow leaders of Arab and Islamic nations, Saudi Arabia invites all to convene a follow-up joint Arab-Islamic summit in the Kingdom on the 9th of Jumada al-Awwal 1446 AH, corresponding to November 11, 2024, to discuss the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinian territories and the Republic of Lebanon, as well as the current developments in the region.
