The United States has mobilized qualitative military reinforcements to its bases in north and east Syria, in a move reflecting its commitment to enhancing stability in the region.

50 trucks loaded with armored vehicles, military equipment, and logistical supplies entered through the Al-Walid border crossing with Iraq's Kurdistan Region to support international coalition bases.

These reinforcements come days after military, logistical, and medical supplies arrived at the Conoco gas plant base in rural Deir ez-Zor, as part of strengthening the US presence in the region.

Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder clarified that US forces in Syria currently include about 2,000 soldiers, correcting previous estimates that indicated 900 soldiers.

US President Joe Biden emphasized that Washington will not allow ISIS terrorist organization to exploit any power vacuum in Syria to restore its capabilities, affirming his country's commitment to preventing the organization's return.

These military movements reflect an integrated American strategy to protect security gains in the region and support their local allies in combating terrorism.
