Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki calls for Putin to be removed from power
Mateusz Morawiecki, Poland's prime minister, has told UK TV channel Sky News that he wants to see Russian President Vladimir Putin removed from power.
Morawiecki also told the broadcaster that if Ukraine remains a sovereign state, it will be a victory for everybody.
Morawiecki said: "If Europe and the free world loses this battle, loses this war, we are not going to be safe any longer, because we'll always be under threat and blackmail from Putin."
He added: "We would like him to be totally removed, of course, but he represents a brutal power, and Russia is a superpower, and if at the end of the day Ukraine survives as a sovereign state, which is our sole objective and this is why we are supporting Ukraine through all sorts of different means, then this is our victory."

Morawicki spoke to Sky News while taking part in an EU summit in Brussels during which the bloc's leaders agreed on Monday night a sixth tranche of sanctions against Russia including an embargo of crude oil and oil products with the exception of oil delivered by pipelines.
