Israel continues to target various areas in Lebanon. In the latest developments on the ground, clashes persist between Hezbollah and the Israeli army, which is attempting to advance toward the outskirts of Maroun al-Ras and Bint Jbeil, where fierce fighting has erupted on the edges of the town.

According to reporters from Al Arabiya and Al Hadath, the Israeli Meron air base in the Upper Galilee was targeted. Additionally, missiles fell in the settlement of Saa'saa in Western Galilee.

Recently, Israeli airstrikes have targeted villages in southern Lebanon, including Arab Salim, Arzon, and Khreib. Al Arabiya and Al Hadath’s correspondents reported that an entire neighborhood in the town of Shabiyah in southern Lebanon was destroyed following Israeli air raids. Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike around 7 a.m. on a house in the town of Kfartabnit, leading to its destruction.

The official National News Agency reported that some heights along the Shebaa Farms front, including the hills of Kfarshuba, Halta, Kfarhamam, and al-Habariyya, are witnessing movements of Israeli infantry and vehicles toward the Sidana height and Shebaa Gate, which are being targeted with rocket fire. Meanwhile, the forested areas in Shebaa and Kfarshuba remain subject to sporadic artillery shelling and airstrikes.

Additionally, the Israeli army announced on Tuesday that it intercepted a drone coming from the east over southern Israel in the Dead Sea area. The army stated, “The Israeli Air Force intercepted a drone that entered Israeli territory from the east,” without specifying the source of the drone.

Israeli forces also intercepted aerial targets over the country coming from Lebanon and Syria, according to the army's press office. The statement indicated that two aerial targets launched from Lebanon were intercepted, along with a drone that crossed into Israeli territory from Syria.

Earlier on Monday, an Israeli strike on the southeastern outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus, resulted in the death and injury of seven Hezbollah fighters, according to Al Hadath TV. It reported that one of the airstrikes hit the Sayyida Zaynab neighborhood, located on the road to Damascus International Airport, where there is a training camp for Hezbollah fighters who are fighting alongside the Syrian army.

In this context, Hezbollah announced in a statement on Tuesday that its members targeted an Israeli troop gathering at the southwestern outskirts of Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon with a rocket barrage at midnight on Monday.
