Major Strike Imminent: Reports Suggest Military Attack on Iran Looms
-
In the event of a direct confrontation, Iran may find itself forced to rely on its own capabilities, potentially triggering a dangerous escalation across multiple regional fronts

Hebrew Channel 14 reported that escalating threats from former U.S. President Donald Trump, combined with intensified Israeli military drills, may signal preparations for a large-scale military strike against Iran. The channel suggested this could be the most devastating attack since World War II, primarily targeting Iran’s nuclear program, which has taken decades to develop.
The report added that such an operation could inflict heavy losses on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), potentially destabilizing Tehran’s internal security and opening the door to significant political shifts.
According to the channel, Iran would likely retaliate by launching ballistic missiles and drones toward Israel, posing an unprecedented challenge to Israel’s air defense systems. The report also warned that Israel’s home front could face massive strikes, requiring high readiness for a full-scale confrontation scenario.
Possible Scenarios
The military strike plan is still under consideration, with three potential approaches:
A unilateral U.S. strike
An Israeli-only operation
A joint U.S.-Israel attack (Tel Aviv’s preferred option to maximize success and minimize risks)
Iran’s Retaliation Capabilities
Iran possesses a vast missile arsenal, including Shahab and Kheibar ballistic missiles, as well as Shahed drones—all capable of striking deep into Israeli territory, causing severe damage to infrastructure and strategic targets.
The report emphasized that any conflict with Iran would not be limited to a one-time aerial strike but could escalate into a prolonged war, with thousands of missiles fired daily, leading to significant human and material losses and placing Israel’s home front under unprecedented strain.
Rising Tensions & Global Warnings
Relations between Iran on one side and the U.S. and Israel on the other have grown increasingly tense, with international warnings about the dangers of an open military confrontation in the region.
In response to Trump’s threats, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that Tehran would "respond forcefully" to any U.S. strike, vowing to target American interests in the region. This came after Trump’s ultimatum giving Iran two months to respond to new negotiation offers, with military action hinted at if refused.
Economic Fallout Fears
The current tensions have raised concerns over potential economic repercussions, as fears of war could drive up global oil prices, negatively impacting the world economy and exacerbating financial pressures in many countries.
