Israeli Forces Advance… Alert and Mobilization in Tafas Following Israeli Raids
-
The repeated Israeli raids on former military sites in southern Syria indicate growing Israeli security concerns over the potential use of these locations for hostile military purposes

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that areas in the western outskirts of Daraa province, southern Syria, and the central countryside of Quneitra have witnessed a wave of Israeli incursions in recent hours.
According to the Observatory, in the village of Jumla, located in the Yarmouk Basin area in western Daraa, an Israeli force stormed the region for the second time within 24 hours. It is believed that they carried out searches for weapons. Other forces also advanced into the village of Saysoon and entered the former military outpost there.
Additionally, in the central countryside of Quneitra, an Israeli unit infiltrated the village of Rasm al-Halabi, targeting the "former military outpost" with bulldozing operations before immediately withdrawing from the site.
The Observatory noted that these movements followed an Israeli force, supported by vehicles and soldiers, raiding the village of Jumla in the Yarmouk Basin yesterday. The raid included house searches amid unexpected military activity in the area.
In response, mosques in the city of Tafas, in the Daraa countryside, broadcast calls for mobilization and alertness. Fighters gathered in the city, preparing for any potential escalation following the Israeli forces' incursion into Jumla, according to the Observatory.
