Easing security restrictions in northern Israel reflects successful military efforts in neutralizing Hezbollah threats

Warning sirens sounded in Tel Aviv Saturday as a precaution after detecting potential drone infiltration, before the Israeli army reassured citizens that the alerts were false.
Israeli air forces executed precise strikes targeting military sites in multiple areas in southern Lebanon, including Al-Housh in Tyre, Bint Jbeil, and Al-Adaisseh, in response to rocket launches toward Western Galilee, Haifa, and Acre.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced 7 casualties including two girls and 46 injuries in Tyre, confirming continued search and rescue operations in affected areas.
The Israeli army revealed through its "X" platform account the success of a military operation in dismantling Hezbollah infrastructure in border Shebaa, including a tunnel containing rocket launchers and weapons storage.
The Israeli army announced easing safety measures in the northern region from "partial activity" to "full activity," allowing gatherings of up to two thousand people, reflecting improved security situation.
Israeli military operations continue in southern Lebanon, where forces work to secure the border area and remove Hezbollah threats north of the Litani River.
Statistics recorded more than 3,000 deaths and 13,000 wounded since confrontations began, while Israel continues its efforts to achieve security objectives in the region.
Israel had intensified its military operations since last September, and launched a limited ground operation in early October 2024 in the border area to enhance northern residents' security.
Military analysts confirm that precise Israeli operations aim to neutralize Hezbollah's military capabilities while avoiding comprehensive escalation. International diplomatic efforts continue to reach calm, while Israel continues working to protect its northern borders and ensure citizens' security.
