Security Forces Launch Extensive Campaign in Sanamin, Daraa Governorate Amid Rising Tensions

Internal security forces executed a large-scale operation today in the city of Sanamin in northern Daraa, aimed at searching for wanted individuals and weapons, amid a state of security tension and a curfew in the area.
This follows clashes yesterday between internal security forces and the “Heimd” group, which is linked to the former military security, resulting in the deaths of three members of this group and injuries to three civilians, including a child.
Additionally, one member of the internal security was injured during the operation due to random gunfire from the "Heimd" group, which is accused of being involved in previous assassination operations within the city.
On February 28, the internal security forces, operating under the military operations room, arrested Farouk Qassem Al-Hamadi, a former member of the People's Council during the previous regime, after monitoring and tracking his movements in Daraa.
According to sources from the Syrian Observatory, Al-Hamadi is accused of leading an assassination cell that operated on behalf of the former regime, targeting revolutionary figures and opponents of Iranian projects and the security apparatus of the fallen regime.
