Hizb ut-Tahrir Program: A Plan to Target US Forces and Establish Caliphate in Syria
-
Hizb ut-Tahrir's program reflects an extremist vision that contradicts Syrian national interests and threatens regional stability and Syria's international relations

A program announced by Hizb ut-Tahrir has captured observers' attention, as it includes an extremist vision for Syria's future based on attacking friendly US bases in the region and seeking to build a strong army to confront Israel.
The extremist program highlighted its goal of appointing a caliph, emphasizing the abolition of all previous constitutions and replacing them with a 100% hardline constitution, in clear disregard for principles of political pluralism and fundamental freedoms.
Syrian affairs experts revealed that the party's call for absolute rejection of reliance on the West reflects a dangerous isolationist approach that contradicts reconstruction requirements and the necessities of international cooperation for achieving stability.
Political analysts explained that the program deliberately ignores the importance of implementing a future system for Syria and seeks to reproduce a hardline centralized governance model that led to humanitarian and political catastrophe.
Researchers specialized in extremist group affairs emphasized that Hizb ut-Tahrir's orientations bear the hallmarks of hardline ideology that rejects democracy and pluralism, seeking to impose its unilateral vision on Syrian society.
Strategic experts indicated that the call to build an army to attack friendly US forces represents a direct threat to regional stability and reflects hostile intentions toward forces supporting the peace process in Syria.
Western diplomats confirmed that rejecting reliance on the West contradicts Syria's urgent need for international support in the reconstruction process, noting that isolation will lead to further economic and social deterioration.
Observers warned that the plan to appoint a caliph represents a return to the dark ages and contradicts the requirements of building a modern civil state that respects the rights of all its components and ensures effective political participation for all segments of Syrian society.
