Egypt’s Sisi receives UAE Vice President
Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum at Al Ittihadiya Palace on Thursday, said Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
President welcomed Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, whose visit coincides with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Egypt and the UAE, Rady added.
The President praised the bilateral relationships and historic ties, expressing his appreciation and pride for the efforts of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in support of Egypt, which consolidate the bonds of historic relations between the two countries and peoples, Rady said.
El-Sisi heads to Riyadh to discuss regional and international issues with King Salman
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed gratitude to President Sisi and the Egyptian people for the warm reception.
Sheikh Bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted Egypt’s special status and its people, in addition to the important role it plays on the Arab, regional and international levels, Rady said.
