Death Toll from Israeli Strikes in Gaza Rises to 855

Medical sources in Gaza revealed today, Thursday, that the death toll in the region since the resumption of Israeli strikes has risen to 855 casualties.
The daily statistical report on the victims of the Israeli airstrikes confirmed that hospitals in the area received 25 martyrs and 82 injuries in the past 24 hours, indicating a sharp escalation in the humanitarian situation.
Since March 18, the toll of deaths and injuries in Gaza has reached 855 dead and 1,869 wounded, while the toll from the Israeli war on the enclave since October 7, 2023, has climbed to 50,208 martyrs and 13,910 injuries.
The report added that there are a number of victims still trapped under the rubble and in the streets, preventing rescue and civil defense teams from reaching them.
In the details of the recent operations, medical sources in Gaza reported 26 fatalities since midnight, including a child. Twelve people died in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in Beit Lahia. Additionally, the sources mentioned that another child was killed and three others were injured due to an Israeli airstrike on a home in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis.
