The Interior Ministry of the interim government formed by "Abu Mohammed al-Jolani," leader of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Nusra Front), began deploying public security patrols in Homs' Al-Hadara Street to maintain order.

The ministry released footage showing public security patrols moving toward Al-Hadara Street. Police commands in several Syrian governorates implemented a curfew from 6 PM to 8 AM following developments after the circulation of video showing attacks on Sheikh Al-Khusibi's shrine in Aleppo.

The Syrian Interior Ministry stated that "the circulating video of burning Sheikh Abu Abdullah Al-Khusibi's shrine is old, dating back to Aleppo's liberation period." They added, "Some remnants following the former regime in the Syrian coast attempted to exploit rumors and targeted our Interior Ministry forces, resulting in several martyrs and wounded."

The ministry warned against spreading rumors aimed at destabilizing civil peace, vowing to pursue those who threaten public security.

Jableh city council in Latakia imposed a curfew from 8 PM to 8 AM, according to "Sham FM" radio. Coastal areas and Homs witnessed angry protests denouncing the shrine attack.

Syrian caretaker government's Information Minister Mohammed Al-Omar revealed the circulated shrine-burning video was old, indicating "hidden hands seeking to incite internal strife," affirming authorities will deal firmly with such attempts to ensure country stability.

Al-Omar emphasized the government's complete commitment to protecting all religious and historical sites as national and human heritage uniting all Syrians.
