Information continued flowing about collapsed Syrian regime's actions December 8, following opposition's stronghold seizure, then president's departure abroad, leaving legacy of mass executions, lethal torture, and human rights violations.
Lawyer Issa Ibrahim, former Syrian Negotiation Commission constitutional advisor, told "Al-Arabiya.net" denouncing Bashar al-Assad's departure without delegating authority to any party, confirming "this behavior reflects his destructive tendency."
Ibrahim, current advisor to coastal region's "Civil Labor Movement," highlighted Assad left carrying "huge quantities of Syrian treasures, like money, gold, and antiquities," noting his escape wouldn't have happened without "Russian support."
Former constitutional advisor emphasized necessity trying previous regime leadership, especially "security officials," demanding forming "specialized independent court" ensuring fair accountability.
Ibrahim, from Alawite sect, presented vision protecting Syrian society components through "official Alawite sect recognition," proposing establishing "Alawite Jaafari spiritual court" managing personal status affairs.
Legal advisor outlined future system vision, calling for adopting "secular democratic" model using two-chamber parliament system, implementing expanded decentralization through "governorates or regions," with Damascus retaining sovereign ministries.
