British man arrested at Windsor Castle detained under Mental Health Act

Reuters reported that London's police said on Sunday, a man who entered the grounds of Windsor Castle, where Britain's Queen Elizabeth is spending Christmas, is being held under the Mental Health Act.

The Metropolitan Police said in a statement, the 19-year-old from Southampton in southern England did not enter any buildings, and security processes were triggered within moments.

The police said: "The man was taken into custody and has undergone a mental health assessment - he has since been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and remains in the care of medical professionals."
